@Gavin
V6 and I’m getting 15.3 city and 15.8 highway consistently.
3″ and 33s getting 18 city and 22 hghway
how in the world are you gettin 15 mpg!?
I change spark plugs every 30k and keep fresh air filter in it and I’m just easy on the gas. Around here they are bad about speed limits and over the years I just got used to driving it easy. Also I usually stay around 75 on the highway.
I have a Titan now with a 6″ lift and 35s and it only gets 12 mpg, dealership has a 15 dcsb trd Offroad with a 6″ and 35s I’m thinkin bout tradin for.
Titan’s arent famous for MPG lol
Trust me I know, that’s why I’m thinkin about tradin it in for a taco. Lol
What’s to think about?
it’d be hard to go to a stock mid size from this lol
How are you guys getting 15mpg? I wasn’t getting 15mpg while I was stock downhill with a good tailwind. I drive the hell out of my truck.
Ya must be kidding. 3″ on 33 getting 18/22 and 6″ getting 15/16. I get about 15 mpg or less on a 3″ lift with 33 MT. People are hardly getting in the upper 18s with stock.
so we’re really lookin more toward the 12 to 13 range with 6″ and 35s…
3 on 33s and I got about 13 city 15 hwy
or less. On TW forum when I did some research. People are averaging from 8-12mpg with 6″ lift and the damn mean 35s.
that’s what I was lookin for, preciate the info guys.
08 4×4 dlcb v6,,, got 18 highway 2.5 level block 2857017 atm tires,,,,, now 15-17if I’m lucky; sitting on 33/12.50/20 federal m/t
I’m getting 12-14 mpg 6″ with 35×12.50/20 nitto trailgrapplers
Any info is good, on another note, which 3″ adjustable coil over style lift has the best ride quality when it comes to high speed interstate drivin hauling a dirt bike + gear etc?
I get about 210-200 miles on a tank. And I have a 6 speed as well.
You guys have to take elevation into account. Everyone also runs a different tire pressure. Both of those alone can make the difference in mpg everyone is seeing.
When my 07 DC/auto/4×4 and had stock tires I could average 23-24 on the highway. Now with 265/75/16/6, I only average 20-21 highway and 18-19 combined. 10 ply tire was even lower. So the weight alone has a huge impact on mpg.
Running ethanol fuel vs straight gas will account for 1 mpg alone.
Don’t buy a truck for mpg’s no matter if full or midsize.
Prius ,now they’re is a mpg monster!
Lol that’s why I really stopped caring about mpg. As long as my taco is running.
I get 15 or 16 but I’m way easy on the gas.
12.5 mpg average 6 in 35s
I’m on 3″ & 33s and getting 14 highway with AC, and 17 without AC on a 500 mile trip cosistantly. About 12 to 14 for city depending on the mood of the skinny pedal. Sitting just below at Sea Level… at 100 degree weather. Tires at 34 psi.
Good average of 15 mpg with mixed driving.
Realy poor ahah
I average high 11s – low 12s with my 35s. But I’m not technically lifted.
