Pelfreybilt, Rago (only sliders), CBI. IMO
Hefty fabworks
CBI
Pelfrey
I have the SSO hybrid bumper with a winch and I love it for an non whole bumper replacement. Can get $100 off if you want.
I also have an SSO bumper and just purchased their rock sliders. Waiting on those…
I was thinking Pelfrey for bumpers and C4 rock sliders. Not sure yet still looking.
Satin Pelfrey will take care of you
@Brandon we’ll talk tomorrow.
Hefty for the strongest lightest bumpers with great clearance. Sliders are tits.
4x4labs for the highest clearance bumpers and sliders but they are heavy, pricey and be prepared to wait.
Pelfreybilt!
Best depends on your own application. What you want.
Opinions will vary, especially here.
Better to think out what you want and do your own research.
Pelfreybilt Off-Road, Inc. gets my vote, not having to cut your stock bumpers in half is great
RCI for sliders.
RSG sliders
C4 rear bumper
4x4labs or addicted offroad front bumper
“best”
Don’t forget to think about approach angle, winch access, the lighting you want to run. Think thru the set up your going for. Do you need side hoops for example?
This should keep you busy.

There are a lot of good ones. But I’d say the best looking imo are Hefty fabs.
@Mike, @Chris
I know! I am on vacation this week so I will be doing just that.
I’m still waiting to receive mine.
It comes down to how and and do you have the $$$$… whatever you choose, it is going to be a ton
I have Addicted for the front and love it. I’ve got Proline for the back and while the bumper works they have the worst customer service I’ve probably ever experienced.
Both company?
Sorry if that wasn’t clear. Addicted is great. Proline is terrible.
@Kelly. Got you!!
True Wei! ☝?
@Scott is one of the best!
@Kelly what made it bad?
@James I just had a terrible time getting in touch with them or getting a call back and trying to resolve issues. I tried several different platforms of contact(their phone often said it was out of service)and finally got a response most consistently on IG. I still don’t have the correct pins to hold my swingouts open over a year after it was originally purchased and they stopped responding and I’ve stopped thinking I’m going to get anywhere with it. I was sent incorrect parts once and even that took over a month. I was told they shipped two separate times when I asked about tracking and never got a tracking # until the day I received the package with the incorrect parts. I was told the delay was because they had to wait for them to come in from the manufacturer which I thought was kind of strange that they didn’t keep parts in stock for their own bumpers. Overall it was just a bad experience for me and I will never purchase from them again. I know some people have had great experiences with them I just wasn’t one of them.
@Kelly what are you doing for pins on your swing out?
I ordered a front bumper about 6 weeks ago. I emailed once Inquiring about shipping and never heard back. I’m just hoping I hear from them when it’s done lol
I don’t have anything on there right now so I don’t have a way to hold them open. Usually they don’t close themselves but if I’m on an angle it’s a PITA to hold one side open to get into the back.
This thread is alive again? ?
If not pins, you can always use shocks.
These are 120 lbs.
We’d love to earn your business. We offer front, rear bumpers, and sliders. Feel free to reach out to us with any questions. http://www.heftyfabworks.com/
Do you have a pic of the rear bumper for the 5th gen. w/o all the added accessories just the bumper by itself?
@Brandon
Hefty you are in the running!
@Brandon As per my message to you Hefty and CBI are the two I feel look the best for the 14+ 5th gens and have the build quality I would trust.
☝️one of us isn’t a furniture store ?
@Chris Ha! FB did that to me twice today.
Do you have more pics of the rear bumper from different angles?
As of right now, it looks better when it’s fully loaded, by itself so so. By itself it looks to skinny or the angle of the pic. I really don’t want to have a spare on my rear maybe store it in the cargo area.
@Chris can show you tons of pics. You’ll thumbs up them all. It’s why I push his stuff.
I am a visual person!
I think I might hold off on doing the rear. Do you have any more pics of different angles for the front bumper?

We have hundreds of picture of the bumpers on our Instagram page @heftyfabworks
The Hefty is modular so if you don’t want a spare on all the time you can remove it.
Here is a pic and I have a hundred more from our trip. You can see more at Audrey.adventures_trd on instagram.
I second pelfreybilt bumpers. No pics of rear for me yet though haha. Good fitment, great quality, and has good approach angle and no cut for both
Satin Pelfrey went gated , almost there!
