What tune are you guys running. And have you guys seen a decrease in your mpg’s? Currently on Trifecta

BNR and usually a decrease in MPGs is how you drive after you get the tune and not the tunes fault. Does Trifecta offer crackle tune btw? If I drive good on my BNR I can still avg over 30mpg. I get 20 tho because I drive bad.
@Cameron I have no idea I just have their regular cheap tune. I live in California so it’s hard to get a cai
@Damon order to my place in AZ, I’ll ship it to ya. Lol. That’s what I had to do for my dads intake for his Durango.
@Cameron well if we get this 1200 from the gov I might have to take you up on that offer.
@Damon it’s happening……just dont know when theyll be sent out could be as soon as next week or as long as 4 months
I only ask about mpg since I used to avg about 34 and now I struggle to get 29
On my BNR tune if I drive regularly I actually get better gas mileage on the tune.. but when I first got tuned I was running like 19mpg and couldn’t figure out why, turns out it was my fault ?
I’ve been on a BNR tune for a couple years, all depends how I drive, it’s very easy to lower my MPG
I have a BNR tune, and see lower MPG, because I drive for the boosty sounds. When I’m with family, and driving conservatively, I do see much better MPG numbers. Better than when I was stock by a few.
Keep my air filter clean on the intake and I get more mpg on freeway no heavy throttle if I’m city it’s about the same if I stomp gas between lights and zip around mpg drops to as low as 18 mpg on dirty as hell air filter
Otherwise I get 30+ or 50+ mpg on 500 mile trip not stomping zip the gas
I’m tuned by BNR on my ATS and actually saw a decent increase in fuel economy because I
dont keep my foot in it
BNR did a ton of work on the gen 2 tune to make sure it got even better MPG than the stock tune if you drive it the same way
i think bnr would’ve sold me if they didn’t charge almost 600 bucks for it
@Damon buy an autocal used that solves 300 of the price. BNR has earned my business and I’ll use them for both 3 of the 4 vehicles I own
@Damon $300 of that is for the handheld and full logging and diagnostics suite of software
@Shawn I think I should’ve joined this group before jumping the gun
Best advice I can give, before you purchase anything in the future ask other members of the group what products they like and why that’s what I did, I had a 2015 malibu 2.0T that was trifecta tuned and it was great but my BNR tuned 2.0T would runaway from it and I’m only on my “base map”
@Jerry wish you offered a tune for my truck though lol
BNR and i get shitty mpg only because i love to stomp on the pedal ? when im driving like a grandma though, ive seen it at almost 5.4L/100km (Gen 2 has a 50 liter tank i think?) So pretty much 900km
Trifecta here and average a good 35-36… I keep it off most of the times while commuting but turn it back on in the city
I’m on bnr & on a 91 aggressive tune & I get anywhere from 40-48mpg sometime more
