I am Gussing you mean that retarded 3 bolt flag before the cats…try to get the other 2 bolts out then drill out all 3(will probably break the other 2 trying to get them out) and replace them with nut/bolt and don’t forget to change the gasket

Cut it off, weld a new one on. Or just cut it out and weld in a piece of pipe.

Well you want the bad news you have to take the exhaust system basically off the truck…what motor is it

Basically what i thought and its the 4.0 but it these bolts are this bad the header ones are probably the same

No don’t take the header off just the y pipe take the other 2 off the other side in the same spot and then you will have room to work on it you don’t want to risk breaking the bolts off in the head then you have to take the heads off the motor to drill them out

The one on the other side is turned right up against the engine so one bolt will be a bitch if i can even get to it gunna have to do a lot of test fitting

Don’t get the manifold cherry red you can snap that ear right off then you will have to temp to take it off the head

So best bet just try and grind off the bolts that snap flush to manifold and drill them out and just nut and bolt them up

Start soaking them now with pb blaster every day as much as you can and when you go to take then off if you can get mostly straight on it smack the extension with a hammer a few good times befor you trying to loosen it
