The ST has a pipe which puts engine noise into the cabin, great when the car is standard but as I have a full milltek ultimate turbo back exhaust I want to remove this pipe so I hear the engine and exhaust as one rather than just the 5 pot,

Also the symposer has a diaphragm which is prone to splitting with can cause an air leak and boost issues. 🙂

So that pipe basically joins the intercooler to the engine body, replacing the existing area where the symposer is connected?

Replaces the boost pipe between the intercooler and throttle body, the pipes also pretty commin to split and as the silicone one is a larger bore it can only help towards performance, looks alot neater too

Thanks @Daniel, definately something I’ll look into when I upgrade my intercooler, for now i’ve ordered this, http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/280986280739

Will I need to order a jubilee clip too or will the existing plastic clip be enough?
