Bung if you want to do it cheap and quickly, replace hose if you want to do a “proper job” both will do the job equally well, hose replacement just looks more professional and less chance of something coming loose and causing a boost leak IMO

I replaced the hose with no branch off. If u drop the cold side of the intercooler it’s easier to get in with the new hose

Sorry, thought I’d replied to this already! I did. Mine a couple of months ago. Replaced mine with a pro-alloy hard pipe with no symposer take off. It can be a fiddly job, but easy enough. Easier with a second set of hands
