Nathaniel Silvey easier to have no cats since everything after the cats are welded together and it be a hassle connecting the cats to the new system unless I get aftermarket cats… Didn’t know what would be best so asking don’t have emitions testing here

I’m thinking of completing my setup with a false cat (thanks VA inspection rules!) and Banks headers. I already have the Banks Monster exhaust and I love it.

Jim Bones McKenna don’t have inspection here so I can run catless if I want just didn’t know if I could on or if it was a good idea on a 04-07 4.2 V6 Auto

Modern Cats do not restrict HP. Leave them. Avoid issues later.

I only am considering a catless system since the cat, muffler and resonator are all welded together from the factory and bolted to the down pipe connected to the headers.. if I keep the cat I’m gonna need to pay someone to weld stock cat to new pipe/muffler but if I delete the cat I can just hook pipe and muffler all with bolt connections and not need to weld
