They’re only on there during a certain year or two. I think early cars had it, usually called the toilet bowl logo lol

Or you talkingn about the eunos V logo?
In which case eunos is the Japanese market luxury line for Mazda similar to Acura Infiniti Lexus

Yeah that’s right why they change the logo so much ?
Because of changing consumer tastes

Go to the marques tab and it’ll show you all of the different emblems over the years
They are only on the 1.8s except for 93..that year has it too
Gahd damn there’s some hot miata chicks
I want to get the ’62 emblem for my front bumper and for the horn button for my steering wheel
It’s just what mazdas logo used to be before they had the flying M
Oh gotcha so it’s just for 1.8
wikipedia says they switched to the M in 97 so yeah i guess the later 1.8 NAs might have had em and the NBs all had em. people usually debadge their miatas so i’ve never paid too much attention
my NB had the M i know that
The nbs have the logo you see now…the nas had the “eternal flame”..I’ve heard the first 3 years of the nb had the “eternal flame” but I’m not sure on that one and I’m too lazy to Google
And Only I.8s Except 93^^ For The Na Logo
My buddy’s 91 same year as mine has the front logo and his is the 1.6
and its the original bumper?
I have no clue at all we just started to do body work on it and there is bondo on every fender so probably not probably replaced the front end
idk there is a million different ways it could have ended up there…lol you never know!
But the weird thing is the hood on his is heavier than mine and there the same year and the hood is original
Yah maybe they drilled holes and put the badge on
yea probably a different hood too, im pretty sure the 90 had the heaviest one
Hmm idk I’ll just Google it lol
oh wait….lol i didnt read that comment all the way, if you say its original
Yah it’s original same color unless they swapped it with the same color hood ?
well i guess all the hoods are the same…if its heavier its probably aftermarket and painted
as far as i know…
Yah the inside of the hood is the same color as the car was
idk then…im trying to look it up to get more detail but im having difficulties, you can ask on http://miata.net/ or something, those guys might have more insight
Yah it’s not a big issue it’s just something I noticed
^^^ i thought there was a difference! just wasnt sure
Well cool
My 92 has an aluminum hood…not steel. It also has no hood ornament…it just has the word MAZDA on the right side of the front bumper. The hood ornament showed up in 94 I think…maybe 93.
the toilet bowl ornament showed up in 94 with the first 1.8’s. I want the Racing Beat bumper bad as fuck.
All Miatas had aluminum hoods replacements where steel 93 was the start of the eternal flame an some 92 had it added by dealers to help sell the old out of date models which is why a few sunbursts have been photoed with the flame there was never an oem steel hood
