I have an 02 dodge 5.9 is the rotor on the distributor suppose to face number one on the block?

Frist get the new cap one by one put the plug wires on the new cap then when u done move it to the side then replace the rotor then put the cap on then bolt down the bolts then plug the batt and tech and grd wires should be done and swap the coil to the new one not hard to do

Take a paint pen and number the boots on the dist. end and the dist. Then anytime you have a doubt it is easy to see.

Usually the trickiest part is getting the TPI distributor cover bolts out.

First question is which engine? L98 no problem. LT1 a lot more work.
