It should just pull out once the jubilee clip is loosened, then the bit under the window has screws so get right under there with a light

Jubilee clip on the bottom of the pipe where the bung goes? Thanks for info

Yes mate, I did mine the other week, pretty easy tbh just that bit under the window that was a pain

So you have totally removed it from under the window and not cut 🙂

Yes mate, didn’t fancy cutting it just Incase I put it all back to standard so it’s in the shed with my airbox lol

That’s the clip in the centre of this photo with the bung in place of the pipe, long nosed pliers will unclip it as it’s not a jubilee

I left mine attached the other end …and tucked it down the back of the engine …much louder turbo sound now lol

It is a bit of kit Ford put in to send engine noise to cabin but causes more problems than it’s worth, and apparently doesn’t take too long to remove and blank off and takes away an area than can cause boost leaks

You can get a blanking plate awell from AS if you wanna remove that metal arm

It’s best to get a new pipe from the inter cooler that does not have the y split in it

I was going do this a couple of weeks ago, but was advised against it as it would screw the turbo up, but so many do it
So what’s the story

So many do it and no turbos fail :p i advise you to order a bung 🙂
