1200-10,000. Depending on the condition of everything.(rebuilt or not, aftermarket shit, ect ect) If we are talking t2 that is. Na always cheaper.
Ok how reliable are they honestly.. not gonna be a daily but will be on the street a good bit.. I have heard about apex seals. But im just curious.

If you dont know much about rotary do lots of research, na is pretty reliable but it really comes down to the owner, my fc had 242xxx on the original apex seals, i wasn’t be easy on the motor either

Buy a rebuilt 12a. Super cheap and Super reliable
Miata trans and rx7 na trans share a lot from each other.
Swap tail shaft housings, that handles everything from the trans back for the swap.
I was looking at a 12a but think I’d rather have 13b
Everything else is kinda self explanatory
Carb and distributor would make it super simplified.
Yea wiring is far from fun and gets costly.
Have the keg rebuilt with some nice port work and you wont be sorry

I believe @Lucky makes a 13b subframe for the miata, they might be sold out right now but you should give them a call up about it. it’s around 2700 but I could be wrong

It’s my project motor. Not for sale. I’m waiting for the right time for it. I was going to put it in my 2011 Accent hatchback, but that’s going to be a ton of work under the car so I’m having it mothballed until I have my hands on an MX5.

I’m afraid the rotary is dead for a while. Which sucks because the MX5 needs to have a rotary option. Even if it added 20k to the price tag.

Check out rotary miata club page. You can get all the info you need there. I’m looking at roughly 5k to do my 13brew swap. I’m good with a welder and build cars for a living, so installing the engine was the easy part. Just finished wiring up a custom harness bumper to bumper. Should be on the street tomorrow.
