Cons:
-underground parking can be a pain in the ass if you don’t take it off or pop it under crossrails
-trying to hide them/keep them from getting stolen
Pros:
-communication when there’s no cell service
-entertainment on the road
-weather/accident update on the road
-better than walkie talkies
I have this, I love it because it’s discreet. Other radios are big imo for our Patriots, but of course there are better ones out there.

There a must where i live… Almost evrry road is MUST CALL road need to call up evry KM empty full etc. They are one way roads and can be very dangerous without while active logging.
I have a connex that i am thinking of installing in the Riot. Not sure though due to its size. Plus side to it it works as a cb and a HAM radio as well. Had it in my semi for a few years and has a 10 mile reach.

Definitely good to have on the highway especially in bad weather. Mine saved me from accidents and sitting in traffic for hours on end many times. Worth the money in my opinion
I have HAM and CB, both mag antennas on the roof.
Can you use it to tell other drivers to turn on their headlights, get off their phones and other stuff as long as you have a pa set up?
Or if ya put 500watt linear amp on it ya can talk to them over their car radio!!!I use to play with them yrs back!the down side of the amp its illegal to have more that 4watts without a fcc licence!!
PA speaker is illegal as well to use while vehicle is moving in most areas. Unless you are Law enforcement
