Full standalone ecu or good luck adapting s4 dash harness.

Thats the problem plus other stuff like fuel injector resistors map sensor ect… It adds up and begins to make selling whole s4 car and getting s5 shell food for thought.

S5 into s4 is not plug n play. Plain and simple. There’s a lot of wiring work to do. Go on http://rx7club.com/ and you’ll find dozens of build threads like this explaining how they did iy

I couldn’t tell you man. But its a good amount of time converting the harness to adapt the sensors and stuff

I’m doing the same thing, with a stand alone ecu. What wiring will I have to adapt?

Well with a aftermarket ecu you lose most dash functions anyway and need other means to check vitals ive yet to start my microtech ltx8 install so i dont have much more info i can tell you my dash harness doesnt plug into my microtech.

I’m running a ltx8 on my s5. Everything on the stock cluster works. Probably need to get an adapter harness for that stuff. @Eric

You have temp and fuel level still what adapter you get and where link info please could help me even tho i have gauges for most things?

Lol honestly I don’t know where cause I got the car with it installed already. I’d call up a shop or something to see what they do to get that stuff to work.
