I personally like the Equal-I-zer 4 point sway. It’s super easy to work with and set up. I used to set them up daily and I got to the point I could do them in 30 mins from opening the box and grabbing tools
Very much so. I’ve seen other ones on the market that claim to be like this but I have only ever found this one to be the best. I still can’t fathom how chains can be considered sway control. No matter how tight you get them you can still move them a little
I’ve got air lift bags in the springs, run a tube to license plate area, drill and install valve, check it couple times a year. 5 to 7 lbs for every day driving, air to 20 – 25 when towing heavy load to level out. Less than 100 bucks, had tem 3 yrs., no problems. My camper weighed little over 10k
I changed out the coil springs on my 1500 for some HD coils. It helped a lot! But if I did it again with how big my trailer is I’d probably do hd airbags. Not the ones that go in the coil. I’ve heard too many bad things about them
These are the ones I bought! Before they were installed when I pulled my trailer it always felt like my front end was really light and didn’t feel very stable. After installing them my truck sits level with my trailer attached and feels stable as can be driving down the road.
Airlift 1000HD airbags are plenty for what you need to do. I had the Airlift 5000 on my last truck and it was over kill. Just had the 1000’s installed on my new truck and I pull a 30ft travel toy hauler like nothing and they are only about 30% full.
Airbags, there easy to install and give you a much more solid ride
Air bags
Get a weight distribution/ antisway hitch. That’s what I use to tow my 32ft toyhauler.
@Rick This.
@Rick it’s crazy how many people don’t have one
@Tyler Ill never go without one again!!!
@Rick we just have a small 18 foot dual axle prowler and have one just for the ride difference I could just imagine a 30 footer
Firestone airbags
Air lift, I have one on my truck and its aweosme
Steve which one did you get?
@Will I have the airlift 5000, I mounted the air nozzles where my license plate holes are, it took me 1.5 hours to do it in my driveway
Helper bags
I have factory bags.
Air bags in the springs and upgraded bump stops. I have both but would only do the airbags if the factory bump stops where ok.
Rv travel trailer hitch has equalizer bars. These will level your trailer
Gooseneck or 5th wheel
You tell it stop sagging, were making changes to pants wearing now!
You can get bump blocks for it to

I also use a weight distribution hitch. With the stock springs and the weight distribution hitch It was still sagging too much
Roughly 1300 lbs in the back and not resting on the bump stops there is absolutely no way I could do it without the HDd springs
Weight distribution hitch and air bags, or step up to a 3500 ?.
has anyone used Timbrens? I had them in my old f150 they made a very noticeable difference???
@Shane I have then on my 2013 ram. I pull a 6000lb TT. They are great.
I put 50% over with progressive rate springs from dodge best thing I did and under $400 now can put a quad on the back and weight and she don’t sag
And I put that quad in the back round on the back and it barely squats

Air lift
Best money spent!
@GEN-Y
Air bags and your stabilizer. I need the airbags
Equalizer hitch and air bags
Air bags in the rear would do you good
6000lb TT , 300lbs of cinder blocks in bed. I use weight distribution and Timbrens .
