I just heard someone people say that the welds are weak on the rough country lift an the the plate it’s very thick but I’m not looking to spend a arm an a leg
My shock started leaking in less than 3 days. Had to put it back to stock and took it for warranty. Shock replaced then leveled again with bilsteins and mevotech upper control arms
My only opinion is to lift it to the size you want on the first try. Don’t do baby steps. Obviously if you’re asking opinions then you’re having doubts.
Thats what i got 2.5 RC level with 20 x10 33 tires. I like it no problems smoth ride. I think it rides better and handles better then stock. But replace front shocks.
Do you buy your girlfriend/wife jewelry from Kmart? If no, don’t buy your lift kits from Rough Country for your baby. (You did ask for opinions) ? Mine is Pro-Comp.
I like mine, 0 issues, rides fine. It stiffens up the front a little because they are preload spacers but it’s a welcome stiffness.
2.5” @Zone level with 315/70r17s

Mine is good and prolly 30k miles on it. Place in town – DNW Outdoors – sold it, installed it and aligned the front end after for about $300.
But also heard some up on the lift to just need some advice
I seen this an I was think yeah might be way to cheap to put on the truck ?
I have one, no issues. Going to bils tho just for improvement for my ride
I’ve it on my 2500, have for 4 years. No issues what so ever.
I would go with supreme suspension. No compressing of the spring.
Just installed this one on my wife’s 2017 last night looks great rides good and easy install
This ones not rough country though I forgot the brand.
It levels it off really well. I went ahead and threw on 35 X 12.50 R20 ‘s on it as well.
I’ve got it on my 2500 with no issues, but I’ve also heard that they cause problems on the 1500s
Do it

@Fernando where did you get the uca’s can only find lefts when I look for those
@Tj I think ebay. Yeah I struggle I don’t know why they don’t just have a package with both.

@Eric That’s right… buy the best lift you can afford and do it once. Learn that lesson already..
Bilsteins ftw
Used one for 2 years zero issues, now I have a rcx 6in lift
@Shawn that’s a 6 in lift?
No this was leveled
This is now
Was gonna say bro you got ripped off lol
That’s more like it
Rough country 2.5 inch no problems
The spacers are fine. Change all of the related components too. Dont half ass it

2.5 leveling kit with 35’s on 20s
@Jonathan any rubbing for 35’s
@Kenny no sir, not at all
I like the rough country for the money but agree to not riding as good as other lifts

Mine is Pro-Comp.
@Danny and pro comp is much better lol
@Gage better than fuckin rough country
True
Carli or thuren for me I’d just build a spacer if I went that route. But really depends on budget skills and intended gains
2.5 rough country leveling kit
