Heat gun with fishing line. Skip the paint and keep it debaged.

Only on my car, but it isn’t a rav4. I’ve been trying to do my fiance’s for a while, but she insists keeping it :/

Mine are plasti-dipped black. Shop did it for me and used a good 7/8 coats. Almost a year old and it hasn’t budged

How did you manage to get in between the letters?

@Gerardo a Friend did it with me using small brushes & steady hand, I had a friend help because I don’t have patience nor a steady hand! LOL

@Gerardo I’m just an old 60 year old guy whose neighbor kids say I Murdered Out my RAV, I took my RAV4 to a Shop you painted Calipers & center cap of wheels yellowyellow

Use a shop towel. Just saw the edge of the towel under the emblem. The remaining adhesive should rub off with your fingers.

Not suggesting that it’s a bad thing or that it is silly or anything, but can someone tell me the purpose behind de-badging? What does it achieve?

@Mark when I was in DETROIT most TOYOTA trucks were completely debadged. Whenever I asked them why they said that it was because they didn’t think the badges were necessary.

Get a pickaxe and just YEET until they fall off

I used a heat gun to remove them and black plasti-dip to paintthem (about 6-7 coats)

Heat gun on low. Goo gone for glue residue. Plastidip for the black

I’d like to get rid of mine as I like it clean, too…but I obviously don’t wear the pants in my family and I’m not allowed. 🙂
