Looking for recommendations on a travel trailer that will sleep at least 4 people, 1 dog and weighs around 4000lbs or less.

Check out the Airstream 22fb sport and rhe Gulfstream Vintage Cruiser 19ft.
New Airstream Nest looks interesting
We jist looked at one. Nice but does not sleep more than 2
We’ve got a Jayco 16XRB.
About 3000lbs.
I’m curious too. I’ve been eyeing a Forest River Viking 17BHS.
Tons of them. Jayco, Coleman are a couple.
Coachmen Apex Nano 193BHS
Did you tow that with your Atlas? If so, what distance and any hills?
@Tee I have not try it on my Atlas yet sorry.
Kirk Schulz
Might able to share his experience as his TT is slightly lighter then mine I think. Mine dry is 3600lbs.
Your best towing, comparing all trailers under the 5k limit, will be the one that is the most aerodynamic. It will reduce the amount of effort your motor will need to make to keep it moving through the air. Look outside the box…
A good rule of thumb is 75% or less of the rated towing capacity – so, generally a trailer that weighs 3750 lbs. or less.
And remember, VW says weight distribution hitches are a “no-no”.
Sway control is fine but no WDH.
airstream bambi sport 22fb. Gulfstream vintage cruiser 19.
Both cool. I’ll be going Trillium or Boler myself.
@Pat good deal
