We did a 3.5” rough country lift on a stock unit here at my work. Looks nice, but really needs to go higher in my opinion. The kit was new upper control arms and spring spacers
I do recommend not going cheap I mean you don’t have to buy the top of the line but definitely don’t buy the cheapest you can find you’ll definitely sacrifice ride and stability also safety kind of comes with that
@Curt I’m going rough country. Lots will say they are cheap on these sites however my local installer installs all the different manufacturers kits and agrees that some are better than others but rough country is a bad lift and their customer service is better than anyone else in the industry. I tend to believe him. He installs 2 lifts per week and knows his stuff
@Markus go with your local installers recommendations. They have to stand behind them if anything goes wrong. If you don’t use what the recommended it will be all on you if you have any issues

@Mike that is the way to go someone local who knows their shi! That way if you have any issues you got someone to fall back on
