would be flashing CEL because youd be misfiring like a mfr and youd have a great loss of power. Misfires can also be caused by old/weak ignition systems.
Yes and you would be able to hear it. It sounds awful

You may check you’re motor mounts also. I know in the 04 and 05 models the motor mounts were not very good and can cause it too seem like the motor is shaking while the AC is on. In my old 8 it was like that and at idle I would turn off the AC because I hated it so much
already checked motor mounts seems alright no cracks or leaking oil. never thought the ac compressor could make so loud noise.
I had a cracked/broken apex seal and it never threw a CEL. It sounded like ass under the hood (loud ticking), and you could feel the unevenness in the revving and lower power as the front rotor was running on only two faces.
had no power loss when my 8 started to make this loud noise, sounds like old diesel tractor and horrible metallic ratling and comes louder at higher rpms. checked the ac compressor and the clutch is making small but noticeable ratling sound. so i believe the bearing have failed on it..
