I have a 2011 Cruze eco manual, getting 36 mpg, is that normal or should I be getting higher? Seems low

I keep my eco under 3k since it’s my daily and since it’s not a racecar lol. I’m getting around 37-40mpg depending on traffic
I average 38 to 44 depends on how I drive
Type of driving? 100% highway or mixed?
You’re within range. Would you rather 28mpg?
Seems like I should be getting at least 40-42
Yeah I should clarify that’s al interstate driving
35 to 45 depending on how I drive
Ok, I didn know if it was that low if something was wrong with it, like turbo or something
My manual 12 eco currently sits at 38 average. With mixed driving.
Most people don’t do super long (50+ mile) highway stints. That’s where the Eco shines. 36 is what I’d expect if there was some city at the beginning and end of the highway jaunt. Getting up to operating temp in the morning sucks down a good amount of fuel.
That seems low. My 2012 Eco manual gets ~41mpg on a bad day and my commute is @80mph+. With the AC on 😛
87 octane
I do 91 or 93 depending on what station I’m at. No ethanol unless I absolutely have to.
I’ll get low 30’s in the city.
Are you running 91oct no E. If not I have a 2015 LTZ RS and have gotten this all year for a average! No A/C for the most part though!
Just FYI.
Hwy!
Hwy!
My 13 cruze not eco gets like 30-32 city and 35-37 highway and has always been around that range. A little less now that I live in a big city and all the hills around here.
not a eco, but I get 35-45 for long drives depending on quality of gas, elevation change, and speed.
just got back from a 3hr 1 way trip. 40ish there 35 back.
on a long trip through Illinois I got 44. But just driving to work and school here in Missouri I average 34 mostly because it’s so hilly
