How big of trailers are you guys hauling with your trucks? Any toy haulers? I have a 14 F150 4×4 screw cab.

@Jake what engine do you have? And how heavy is the trailer? I was looking at a 33’ but wasn’t sure how well it would handle it
@Caleb it’s 8,000lbs and I have the 2nd gen 3.5L with the Max tow package
@Jake thanks I have a 2015 coyote screw max tow package ?
Will be hauling my car
You’ll need to if you go through any more engines. Lol
36′ just under 8000# empty
@Chris Dude I want those mirrors! Are they stock? Or aftermarket? If so let me know where you got them!
@Jacob I got them from eBay.
@Chris do you know what they’re called?

Trailer 42 feet. Longest boat is 53 feet
About 10,000lb
I haul cars, and tow a TT.
20″ car hauler 8000#
20″? Looks a lot bigger than that ?
@Rick ha ya 20′
I pull a lot around the farm with my F150. Up to around 16,000 pounds give or take
24 footer
This is my idea. I have a 4 seat rzr. Im looking to make a toy hauler out of a 24 foot trailer
Perfect for my XP4 with room to spare
A lot of big hills here in Arizona. Honestly. how does it tow?
I have a 6.2 in my 2011 Platinum and it pulls it great, even on the big long hills.
20 ft flat bed will be busy hauling my 1979 camaro to the track
14 foot trailer old school iron. She does like it but its a work truck no pavement princes here. Drywall ,lumber, doors, carpet and tools
Doesn’t
’18 5.0 Scab with ’18 Coachmen Clipper 17FQS. Only 3,200 lbs dry weight. Lotta room for toys : )
Toy haulers are extremely tongue heavy. 2014’s and prior F150’s don’t always have the payload needed to handle to TH plus passengers. You’ll have to check that yourself, but that will be your limiting factor.
@Ryan weight distribution hitch really helps.
WDH is mandatory over 5,000 pounds, agree. But a normal RV will have a TW of ~12%. Toy Haulers 15+%, to counter the weight loaded in the garage. A 7K toy hauler can easily have over a thousand pounds of TW.
41ft 13000 lbs pulls it good but fuel mileage is like a dodge 30/100km and I try not to have to move it too much
No pictures, but used my 2013 fx4 eco to pull a heavy duty trailer with an offroad vehicle, a rzr, and 4wheeler. Total truck, trailer, passenger weight on the scale was 19600. Got 8.5mpgs. We were supposed to use the trailer owners duramax, but tie-rods.
This was the offroad vehicle.
@Salim it looks like an off-road vehicle.
2011 5.0 32 foot trailer had it stacked to the room with moving stuff.
38′-6″ camper
24 foot formula, 13 foot Boston whaler, 17 foot ski boat and jet ski, 6×10 dump trailer and 7×14 enclosed.
22′ V Nose
I’m glad that you asked this question. I have a 2018 XLT 2.7 and want to trailer my 2014 Maxima and some household effects for about 1,000 mile trip. What would my absolute limit be. It’s totally stock with about 400 total miles on the odometer.
Pulling an Imagine 2800BH camper with 5.0 FX4. Pulls fine.
