You won’t need if it is lifted correctly. You would need a hi-steering kit if you are going over 4 inches.

You dont even need a steering stabilizer at ANY height if your rig is set up properly

My bad. You are right. I glanced at the post and was thinking hi-steering.

We replaced mine when we did the 2.5″ lift and it’s far superior to stock. No more wandering lol I can at least take my hands off the wheel for a minute and not end up in BFE like it did with stock. I do a lot of highway driving so it made a difference to me

Thats steering geometry not steering stabilizer.

Oh well something helped ??‍♀️ I assumed it was that

Steering stabilizers “help” a lot of things but fix nothing. Adjustable control arms would have been a much more effective fix for your road wandering.

I had 4WP do it. I figured the steering stabilizer couldn’t hurt. I’d have to look at the paperwork again. I got a bit of info overload that day lol

That happens

I just upgraded my stabilizer… Been running 35s on a ~3 inch light for 6 years.

I immediately felt the difference on the crappy rough roads down here. The wheel didn’t vibrate and struggle against me as much as it used to.

So, no, not ‘required’ but I wish I’d done it sooner.

The first time you experience the death wobble (google it) you be buying the best stabilizer you can. Really like our fox.

Stabilizers dont fix death wobble. It helps hide the real issues.

Steering stabilizer is not the cause nor the cure for death wobble.
