My brake pads and rotors need replacing soon. You guys have any suggestions which brand I should go for? 38 answers
I was told you’ll need vagcom to unlock and relock the electronic calipers in the rear. Other than that I was told it’s a pretty standard brake job.
@Edson not sure yet. since I’m going through all this to change the pads, I’ll prob do rotors and a brake fluid change also. No need to redo it later
Good topic. I have certificates from Hawk (I have a race car, and we won races sponsored by Hawk and have a lot of certificates for no charge Hawk pads). Is there a Hawk brand pad that is recommended? I’ve used them on lots of my street cars.
I got quoted parts from be at $900 got them from parts shop for $350 yay. Pretty easy fit too. The rears are harder I’ve heard

Yes you need a triple square set, if you don’t have one get one
Also I have seen some with sensor included, other just sensor ready… what that means?
@Edson brake wear sensor I believe
I did mine 4 months ago. Brembo’s all around.
Good luck! Essential rootor
Rotors are changed at same time as pads
ATE are original and the best for Touareg/Cayenne. Worth the price!

Alretta truck brake kits…all you need, including the tool you need. Great kit.
Undo both brake line brackets on each side of the front.
