Just installed this one over the weekend…. Was super easy, me and my brother tackled it and was able to manuever it into place without much difficulty in about 45ish minutes. Was quite easy

@Chris yeah same here. I had a second pair of hands help my maneuver, but you can do it yourself.

I didnt drop muffler for curt install
I did it at night using my phone for light. It’s easy

It’s not hard to drop the muffler. I switched mine out in 15 minutes without even lifting the car. All you need a 13mm deep socket, 13mm box wrench, and some soapy water in a spray bottle.
Took me 15 min to install it so easy just need to make a cut in one hole to be able to insert the screws and supports
Literally took thirty seconds to drop muffler with bare hands and a squirt of WD40.
Easy Peezy. Didn’t touch muffler
Don’t need to remove the muffler for the Curt hitch. But the muffler is extremely easy to remove if needed at all.

Didn’t drop muffler on my 18 but seemed necessary on my 20. Easy to drop the muffler. In any case watch video on etrailer for your vehicle.
Curt was super easy, and didn’t get in the way when I put the borla can on either. Just be sure to paint the areas you’ve got to drill out a bit.

Just drop the muffler. It’s super easy and makes the install a billion times easier.
I installed the Curt hitch on mine by myself without touching the exhaust at all.
Dropping the exhaust is for access only. It can be done the hard way and leave it one.
I will always drop the exhaust. ALWAYS.
