You won’t get any flutter from that one,only atmospheric dump valves give u the chatter, fit an open cone filter for turbo chatter as the ST and rs’s don’t particularly like blow off valves ?
Got open cone and that frombd performance stall at ford fair, and i said i wanted chatter and they said that it would give me that ?
I think what they mean is it’ll Recirc more pressure and that usually ends up giving more sound out of the filter. This happened on my rs, unless they gave u the wrong valve?
So i need this one then

Turbo flutter is when the air goes back through the turbo. The pssst sound is from a blow off valve. The shortie is a full recirc so all the air goes back into the intake. They do a duel port which I’m installing the weekend to get the blow off sound.

Don’t change it again then, the dual port just gives u the dumping of air sound, not the flutter your looking for. Was it the ram air filter or the group a kit u bought from them?

Should be making some chatter then, did u reconnect the pipe back onto the Recirc properly, and are u still getting full boost and all running ok?

What map you running? When I changed my recirc with my Rs crossover conversion I didn’t get alot of chatter, until I got modxrs with rs injectors, as it’s pushing more power it chatters alot more now
Haven’t got it mapped yet, was getting all the parts on first then doing it. Have seen people with just group a getting better chatter than me haha
That doesn’t always mean it’s a good thing tho mate. You’ll notice more chatter once your mapped
I find that I only get chatter when hard acceleration for short birst and let off if not on long acceleration and then a gear change I get sonic boom them. Try that
You need to get a stronger spring put in the Shorty valve that will give you a lot more flutter. I did this yesterday and the car runs a lot better
