Got it on my 17
Whats the stipulations on that.does it have to stay 100% stock?
@Austin follows magnuson act. Any modifications have to be proven to be cause of failure. Strap a supercharger on a blow pistons, youre out
It comes down to common sense. If you mod it and the mods break the car, they won’t cover it. If you supercharge it and blow a hole in the piston, that’s on you, they’re not fixing that one for free. Change wheels, springs, brakes, etc…..go for it, not much you’re gonna screw up that would break anyway.
For th erecord, I have the lifetime MaxCare on my ’13…..I’m not 100% stock, but have near 150k miles now and no warranty problems.
Drew Evans is there a joke in there somewhere?
Drew Evans Should I tell you in secret so no one else can see?
And yes, if someone was to ask about coverage, I would recommend lifetime coverage. It’s a smart investment.
@Rusty i mean 4grand you cant beat it! I just didnt know if they were more strict on it since it was the lifetime that you owned the vehicle
Drew Evans Modifications that are different from how the vehicle came from the factory…..is mods.
@Rusty but thank you for the info.i appreciate it
@Austin Buy it from Clay Robbins and you should be able to pay at least a grand less than that.
Austin Shupert For the record, I’ve likely had $15k in repairs done to mine……….on a warranty that cost me $3k
Drew Evans I asked if the cool thing to do was tell it in secret away from the rest of the group……..
Drew Evans Is that why you told me in secret? Cause you thought they were really good, or were you embarrassed? I’m still not sure.
Like they said above
Putting CAI and stupid crap won’t affect it
Programming the pcm with a tune
Changing suspension springs and say a ball joint goes out
Putting a supper charger on it etc
MAJOR mods will in fact void the warranty
And if the cost of repair exceeds the value of the car
They just cancel the warranty and pay u.. I think value of the car
But keep in mind people putting super chargers on and major mods don’t have a warranty and don’t worry about it.
But for the normal stuff and everyday drivers it’s great to have
1 engine or trans and it pretty much pays for itself
Drew yup!!
But OEM doesn’t really sell “performance” parts
It’s exhaust and CAI
Drew hell yea I would to
Drew Evans None of them warranty supercharger installs for lifetime.
Yea only factory installed
Not dealer installed
And that’s 8 year 150k
Drew Evans stop being a douchebag. The discussion is obviously about lifetime warranty, hence the word in the title, and here you are arguing semantics about 3/36. I know what I know. If that’s more than what you know and you think that makes me a know-it-all, then that’s on you. Don’t be so soft.
Drew Evans I didn’t belittle anyone here, only shared useful knowledge. But here you are, muddying the swamp with your sourpuss attitude and commercial grade butthurt. Just get some cortisone, sit it out, and you’ll feel better.
And belittle is a single word. When you make it two words, it becomes……be……little.
so, you’re saving my posts? Creep. For the record, that wasn’t belittling anyone. You don’t understand the word.
@Mike, @Jason, @Karen….this guy has a hard-on for me that won’t go away. Can we deal with him?
Drew Evans please start a poll. Who gets voted off the site. Please. If it’s me, I’ll go.
Drew Evans why not be a decent Student?
Im honestly not seeing where Rusty Couch was being an asshole…..
@Austin He’s got baggage from the past he can’t let go of.
Drew Evans But…..someone did ask for my help….And I gave probably the most relevant reply in the whole post…..but here you are throwing your sore ass out onto the table so everyone has to see it.
Drew Evans is gone…
Wonder if they sell the lifetime warranty on the track hawk
Those are supercharged and would cover it lifetime if they sell it for that
@Jason Nothing SRT get the lifetime MaxCare…unfortunately.
@Jason Thank you….sorry that drug on so long. 🙁
@Rusty seems most u can get in srt is 8/125k
No lifetime on SRT models (I know the Jeep is no longer an SRT model technically but it’s also not eligible since it’s the top tier performance model I guess).
@Rusty Dang, I’m not always on here and can’t keep up. I guess it’s true, opinions are like assholes, everybody has one. Just wish people could realize that not everyone will agree, and leave it at that.
@Karen Sorry for sullying up your page like that, Karen. 🙁
@Rusty I’m currently dealing with my dog’s terminal cancer and some of the FB pages I’m on are very strict as to context of posts and questions. The admins can end comments and/or delete posts at will. On this page I’m a moderator, but haven’t tried out any of my super powers – yet. Lol.
@Karen I’m SO SO sorry! 🙁 I had no idea. I would not have bothered you with such trivial things had I known. I just grabbed a couple admin names I knew. Prayers to you and your doggie. <3
Poor puppers ???.
You’re in our thoughts, @Karen.
@Rusty @Jason We are keeping her comfortable and giving her CBD oil and some holistic meds. Chemo would have given maybe 1-2 more months but the oncologist wanted me to tranquilize my dog before bringing her in for treatment every week. I just couldn’t do that to her. NSAID is causing kidney failure so now I have to decide our next move. Thoughts and prayers much appreciated.
@Karen I lost a golden retriever 5 years ago to a cancer that we never found, stomach I think. I had put him through so many tests and couldn’t see him suffer. One of the hardest days of my life…
@Karen may your deity of choice or lack of one, help you find peace and strength in your troubling times.
I should talk to alot of you more often, but i figure everyone has enough assholes in their day LOL
Damn!!! I just got here and was strolling through the comments and @Rusty being an asshole!!! Shit, I’ve got to disagree!!! I was going to put boot to ass on Drew…Jason beat me to it!! LOL
@Mike It gets said a lot. I disagree a lot of the time, too. 🙂
@Rusty LOL!!! Love ya, Brother!!
@Mike Thanks Buddy….SAME!
Drew was NOT a terminator….they can’t self terminate
@Karen just remember, they dogs get the better end of the lifespan in a sense, they have their best friend there for them their whole life. Their suffering is shorter than ours can be.
@Mykel Yes, we had a boxer with Mast Cell tumor. She lived about a year after surgery, but had to give enzymes in her food so she could keep it down. Riley is my current cancer dog. Got her as a rescue at 6-weeks old. Terrible skin allergies her entire life. Finally found a once a day pill we thought was a miracle. Turns out it lowers the immune system and turns on cancer cells. Titrating her dosage down while adding holistic meds is turning into a full time job. We won’t let her suffer. She’s had a good life and is much loved. Weirdly, we rescued another pit bull puppy in January, just before Riley’s symptoms sent us looking for answers. Grayce is now 8-months old. I know she will miss her buddy. ?
This just breaks my heart.
following
Bought it for my 15 and 16
Have one for my ‘17. Get it from Clay.
This guy has he absolutely best prices period
I have it for my 13
Have it on my 15 RT
I have it for my 15. Every time I use it, it’s $100 deductible
Only after the 3/36k wears off. And it’s not $100 per issue, but per visit. So if you bring it in with 5 things wrong, it’s still only $100.
I got the 200 deductible
Was cheaper
I’m a mechanic so I mainly got it for bigger issues not the minor ones I can do myself if less than 200 bucks
@Jason I’ve had over $15k in repairs. In fact…I pick mine back up for another $1,500 repair tomorrow. I do small stuff…..but the warranty has been worth it’s weight in gold. And I get to continue enjoying it because it doesn’t make me broke with repair costs.
yea I figured after getting rid of my 06 with 220k on it
The warranty would be smart
Granted my 06 never had 1 problem in 12 years
Lol
But with all the advancements in electronics and the 8 speed trans shits just bound to go out eventually
@Jason yup
@Rusty I want to see the repair list. Wow FCA lost out on that deal!

Following.
Got it on my ‘14
Got the life time on my 18RT, I just learned from several SRT and Hellcat owners that yes you can get a lifetime warranty on any Chrysler product except the diesel Rams
Negative @Mike someone is feeding you fake news. This is the actual contract.
Interesting cause I asked this question on a hellcat demon group and someone who has a hellcat got a letter from chyrsler about buying a lifetime warranty
You can get the MaxCare, but it maxes out at 8 years on SRT.
@Mykel the diesel rams have 4 years unlimited miles
Here is the real question, Chrysler makes the car, what’s so different about an SRT, comparing a Scat Pack to an SRT, I just want my AC or alternator replace for 100 dollar deductible
The 6.4L: and 6.2L are the difference, also they KNOW people beat the snot out of an SRT. I heard tales of people getting lifetime on a scat pack because it was not technically a SRT, but then Chrysler later refused engine warranty claims as it says “Powered by SRT” on the half covers, they said it meant it was excluded.
I agree logically they should atleast offer lifetime on standard components.
Second page he reports back that it was incorrect data spread by the internet and dealers…
https://www.hellcat.org/threads/lifetime-warranty.65489/
@Mykel that’s from a Demon owner
Well I can say is the only place that ever states SRTs can get Lifetime is the internet. All the legal binding contracts you have to sign specifically EXCLUDE the SRT and diesel, as I posted above.
The internet is full of both truth and lies. but a legally binding contract exception will be upheld in a court battle, regardless of what an internet person says.
@Mykel until I buy an SRT I’m gonna go with the notion that SRT and diesel are excluded
They said it was 4000. Here in Florida.
Only keeping for a few years then a new one again.
