A trailer hitch.
Maybe ?
I’ve seen pictures of 8’s with hitches on here. Hopefully the owners who do have them will respond. ?
Thanks Al
Welcome sir.
@Søren – I did a quick search, I found two… @Shane and @Eric.
@Sean, I just looked at 1,000 pics looking for hitch. No luck. Have headache.
On your laptop/desktop, you can use the search function in Purely… I looked up hitch, and jetski (knowing I had seen them recently). I don’t think you can do it from a phone.
Now you tell. Lol

Great i have send Shane a message
There is a Curt hitch that is relatively straight forward to install. However, most of the load is carried by the bottom pan of the trunk, so its not really suitable for heavy loads. I only use mine for a single bike rack.
Will try and take a few pics a little later, and upload here
The access hole for this bolt is the one that needs to be elongated, one on each side of car. These are the supports that help you keep from ripping the trunk floor out.
Looks similar to what I had on my Miata for my tire trailer.
200lbs max tongue weight, if i remember correctly (about 90kg)
Tongue weight of 200lbs is max weight you want on the ball, 1000lbs total towing weight max is recommended, including trailer
This is on my’05GT, it uses all existing holes on the car. Follow the instructions, and save yourself some time in the long run. The pre-fit is crucial…
