I have a 15 vt and i havent personally experienced this but appearently its a very common thing. Should be covered under warranty too

Yes. My 2015 VT. Still under warranty so dealer replaced it.

But at my dealership, nobody knows how to fix anything, so fixed it myself

Just got mine replaced under warranty. Took about an hour

I had mine replaced by a shop and it took em 5 minutes

@Javier free it was under warranty

I just pressed down on my back hatch while hitting the button and it popped. After i opened it i saw that it was lose so i tightened it and havent had a prob since.
