Yes it fits
People have done swaps before. You should be able to find info / steps searching rx8 club.
Stock turbos don’t fit but everything else does
Pretty sure you have to move things around to use the transmission. I would get an RX8 5 speed. Very similar to the FD box.
Would be better off with a series 2, 6 speed.
Yes but you have to do a single turbo conversion. What @Matteo said.

Oh I missed the part about the engine. Just buy a 335i the Rew isn’t any more reliable than w renesis.
@David-Christopher Thanks for the heads up… to bad you can’t just put a v8 in there.. lol
Richard Landry you mean like hundreds of people have? They even make kits to do it lmao.
@Richard yeah a V8 fits fine. 98% of the swaps looks like a clusterfuck but it’s been done plenty of times. People have swapped 2jz’s SR20s some dumbass even tried a saab V6 engine.
Saab v6 is really stupid idea alright, but the saab 4 banger fits perfect and has plenty of potential (y)
@Adam yikes
@David-Christopher soon on riced out rx8s ?
@Adam yes it will most likely become the cover page.
❤️
@David-Christopher i absolutely adore the Saab 2.8t
Fairly certain Texas rotary experts has a complete swap kit with single turbo swap to make it fit properly
You could always diesel swap it too. There is a how to video on YouTube.
You’re lookin at around 10-15k usd to do it right
just buy an rx7. costs the same
Engine and trans do yes. Turbos don’t.
My friend car @Damon
The trans will need some fabrication. But you do have better options. You can either just use the 6 speed rx8 trans and it should bolt right up. The downfall is that these trans are known to fail with any real power. Option b is to source a bell housing and tail piece from an rx8 5 speed sold selectively over seas and swap them on the rx7 trans. Downfall to this is sourcing the parts and paying for shipping along with you still have that pesky 5th gear problem the 7’s are known for. Or third option, just source an rx8 5 speed from over seas. It will bolt right in like it was meant to be there. And yes the twin turbo will not fit, but you can go to a single turbo and that will fit. If you have any questions you can pm me..
If you do the work yourself its a 5-7k job and thats basic and on a budget but reliable… I did a 2jz swap in mine and it was 7500 running factory twins.. Im single and 13k in now.. However i did all work on my own
Add 5-15k for labor if you have a reputable shop fab for you
