How cold is where your at? I don’t use Lucas in the winter since it’s already super thick stuff and gets even thicker in winter.

IF its the synthetic stabilizer pours like regular 5w30. I’ll bet it’s unrelated.

Lucas oil is absolutely not like regular oil it’s literally twice as thick.

Read where I said synthetic, just poured it in my 03 last weekend, and my powerstroke a month ago. It’s not like the regular blend, which pours like honey.

It 42 now

42 isn’t too cold but it’s not too warm either. But your motor should handle it, but remember the colder it gets the thicker it becomes making it harder for the engine to cycle it to all necessary places and work harder. I like to use Lucas oil in the spring and summer but I don’t use it in the winter. Just as a precaution.

Whether all of this is related to your problem, I can’t be sure.
