Springs will work with modification to the rear springs and shocks are bolt in

I tried it and got no lift I was told they needed to be off a jku so I got jku nope nothing just made the ride super soft. Not sure if I did anything wrong. But nothing.

I work for dodge and have several sets of take offs figured a free lift was worth it. All the forums Say it works but never met someone who did it

Following. I have a set of JKU springs in my garage waiting to be fitted. I’m in NZ so buying a TJ lift kit from US is very expensive due to shipping weight and import taxes.

In another group a guy showed pics. 3 inch in back 1.5 in front. So he used coil pucks to balance it.

I measured the jku yesterday 13 inch front springs and 15 in the back. I’m curious cause I’ve gotten 4 sets to use lol. I so wanna try but don’t wanna waist my time.

I’m sure you have read that there were quite a few different spring rates for the JK so hopefully you have the best ones in your pile.

Gonna go through and get the numbers off of em and look em up.

The springs have to be from a JKUR. A buddy got mine and got 2 inches of lift, front and rear.

I’ve got 2 inch coil spacers so in reality it’s not gonna be worth it I guess. Unless I buy the track bar etc n do there shocks worth my pucks to make 4 inch

I did it, got about 2 inches. Had to cut off aittle off the rear spring in the pig tail portion and if I remember swapped out a shock bushing from the old ones. It was pretty easy and was a free lift. It came from a Rubicon jku so I believe you get a little more lift with that over a standard. That was such a smooth ride with that set up. Now I have 4inch lift spring and still run the same Rubicon jku shocks.

I’m thinking of keeping coil pucks and doing that gives me 4 inches free

I would try it , I think you’ll like it and it’s free.

Of course the amount of lift is determined by how much weight is sitting on the springs. A 4.0 with winch won’t get as much as a 2.5 without …

I’m a 2.4 no winch

i got about 3″ in the rear no difference in the front bolts right in. I added 3″ spacers up front for now, but going to do a front sprint swap in the near future.
