The little box next to my amp
They are all pretty much the same. I got one for around 12$ on ebay. Use the front speaker outputs for signal. The drivers kick panel next to the hood release has all the wires in a loom. The speakers are the twisted wires that are together.
@Ray wrong
@Matt alrighty. I’m a noob. Never ever had a system before gtfo
@Ray I install competition systems and build custom enclosures for some of the biggest competitors in the Midwest…
@Matt you want a cookie? Idgaf
@Ray do you say that too everyone that talks beyond your comprehension?
@Matt no only to wiseass jerkoff kids
I have this in my cruze and my 18′ silverado. No issues
Well I was going to take the radio out and do it behind the radio
DD Dsi-2
Or if you want to save a little cash Dayton audio Dsp..
Wanna do it the correct way for best sound quality.. don’t get some cheap inverter you will just suffer in sound quality and early clip my man
You pay for what you get. Audio control makes some of the best stuff. The LC2i is great if you’re just adding a sub
@Andrew LC2i has drops input voltage at lower frequencies if you want any kind of bass below 31hz I don’t recommend going that route
The voltage drop on my old one was very minimal. I don’t remember the exact numbers but it did great in my opinion
@Andrew also in your opinion have you tried anything other than $60 for a line out converter? The difference is massive
I’ve tried cheaper and regretted it. LC2i is not $60 either. I’ve had LC2i in my girlfriends car for over a year with no problems
Lmao get the LC2I and you will not regret it. Anything else is pretty shitty in comparison, but that is just my opinion. Lc2i has many features and is very low on distortion. It also has a feature that corrects the bass when your deck volume is higher than 80%.
Thanks @Brandon
@Erik no problem man. If you have any more questions about it let me know. The lc2i is the way to go for sure. It has a remote built into it too. Also, when your car turns on it detects the speakers input and turns on the unit.
Lc2i from audio control ??
LC2i is a cheap route I’ve literally switched 4 of them out since February in many customers cars.. but hell what do I know? I only get paid to do it for a living.??♂️
@Matt well I hope you don’t use the Accubass setting on it…
@Andrew I use dsps much cleaner sound and correct no dip in quality at lower frequencies.. if you got Walmart/Best Buy subs.. LC2i is a great option but anything more you should go DSP or don’t the choice yours not mine..
All I’m saying is I’ve removed enough of them to know how great they are not.
@Matt if you take any more out check the accu bass setting on it. Where I see people run into problems is when they are using it.
@Andrew accu bass only works on systems that are not crossed over before the speaker line used for the line out
