One person said the key and the car talk to one another a lot and if your key is close to the car even in the house they may be communicating. And that could run down the battery. They suggested moving the key further in the house away from the car. Shrug.

If you go through car washes a lot your doors may be locking/unlocking the entire time due to the water hitting the touch sensors on the door handles. Try turning off the door handle sensors when using the car wash or if you hand wash make sure your key fob isnt near.
