Shorties and dual exhaust
Not sure but i dont think you can do cam on those yet
Did this first, got more top end but lost bottom end, also thought it sounded terrible, I said it sounded like a pissed off bumble bee, after the shortie headers it sounds good
How hard were the shortys to install, they are next on my list, and did they make a noticeable difference?
Yes I noticed a difference, seemed to add the bottom end I lost putting duals on, took about 8 hrs to install and remove 2 broken bolts,
Nice, the gain part sounds good but the install time I’m not looking forward to
Yeah it took a while but it was worth it, my wife actually helped so it was fun also
They do cams on the lx 5.7 why not our?

Y did you go shorties over long tubes?
Because I’m not building a race truck, shorties work best in driving rpms versus long tube for higher rpms, I got a 75 dodge truck with a 413 big block for that
I know a guy who did long tubes and a bully dog on a crew cab hemi and it was pretty quick for a crew cab
Can tune is a dead end for LTs- benefit way more from a custom tune
Ya he kept saying that he had a code come up
That the main reason for a custom tune- with LTs you need to turn the rear o2s off and his truck is prolly running real rich like mine was bc of the COT
Have you seen the price difference for long tubes and shorts, it’s over twice the cost and no where near the twice the gain
Has anyone seen real dyno numbers?
2 or 4 wheel drive….I’ve heard stories of LT’s having fitment issues on 4wd’s
